Mr Antony Riddick

I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Robotic-assisted Surgeon at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and Spire King's Lynn Clinic, providing specialist urology care to patients across Cambridge, King's Lynn and the wider East Anglia region. I focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centred treatment for both urological cancers and benign conditions, using advanced diagnostic techniques and minimally invasive surgical approaches wherever possible.

I specialise in the investigation and treatment of kidney, testis, bladder and prostate cancers, offering a comprehensive and personalised approach to diagnosis and care. This includes robotic surgery for kidney cancer, where I use precise, minimally invasive techniques to support improved recovery and outcomes. I perform all aspects of kidney cancer surgery, including robotic and open procedures such as radical nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy as well as kidney biopsy and active surveillance. I also have a particular interest in the management of small renal masses, ensuring that each patient receives the most appropriate and evidence-based treatment plan.

Alongside cancer care, I provide expert investigation and treatment of prostate conditions. I offer advanced procedures such as GreenLight laser prostatectomy to relieve urinary symptoms safely and effectively. My practice also includes comprehensive bladder investigations including cystoscopy, along with bladder tumour resection and bladder lesion removal where indicated. I regularly assess and manage symptoms such as blood in the urine and recurrent urinary tract infections, ensuring a thorough and timely diagnosis.

In addition to complex urological conditions, I treat a wide range of general urology concerns, including disorders of the penis and scrotum. I perform procedures such as vasectomy, circumcision, epididymal cyst removal and hydrocele surgery all with a focus on patient comfort, discretion and optimal recovery.

I completed my medical training at leading UK institutions and undertook higher surgical training in urology within recognised training programmes, gaining extensive experience in both general and specialist urology. I have pursued further specialist development in minimally invasive and robotic urological surgery, particularly in the management of kidney cancer, and regularly update my practice in line with the latest clinical evidence and surgical advancements.
