I am a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon specialising in foot and ankle disorders and managing acute general foot and ankle trauma at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust, since March 2013.
I graduated from Gulbarga University in India, in 1996. My basic surgical training was undertaken in various centres in the UK. I completed my higher surgical training from Newcastle deanery in the North East of England, gaining the higher surgical degree in trauma and orthopaedics.
I completed a dedicated nationally recognised fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Glasgow and was appointed as a consultant in 2013.
I have presented papers in international forums and have published on complex ankle and foot disorders in peer reviewed journals. I am a keen teacher and am also the lead for undergraduate training in trauma and orthopaedics.
