My particular interest is in the management of soft tissue problems including sports injuries. I am involved in teaching and lecturing in this field both in the United Kingdom and overseas.

My key areas of clinical interest include arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder and elbow. This includes knee ligament reconstruction, cartilage regeneration surgery including meniscal repair and cartilage transplants in the knee and patellar instability. In the shoulder my key areas of interest are shoulder instability, rotator cuff injuries and acromioclavicular joint injuries. In the elbow i manage  tennis and golfers elbow as well a bicep tendon injuries.

I am currently the Managing Partner of Cardiff Sports Orthopaedics LLP, a partnership of consultant orthopaedic surgeons based in South Wales. We specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of bone, joint and musculoskeletal disorders, including sports injuries, degenerative joint disease and arthritis.

My NHS practice is based at Cardiff and Vale NHS trust  at the Cardiff and Vale Orthopaedic Centre (CAVOC) at University Hospital Llandough where I am the lead for soft tissue knee surgery.
