I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and my clinical practice consists entirely of surgery to the knee. My NHS practice is based at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, where I receive referrals from GPs and complex referrals from other consultants.

I specialise in all aspects of knee surgery including: Arthroscopic knee surgery, Ligament reconstruction, Partial and total knee replacement, Surgical management of arthritis in the younger patient, Patellar stabilisation procedures and Revision knee surgery.

Originally from Worcestershire, I trained in Manchester and took an international Fellowship in Sports and Reconstructive Knee Surgery at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. I have worked as a Consultant at the renowned Wrightington Hospital before returning to the area with my family.

I have a keen interest in research and audit, having published work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings.

I enjoy teaching and training having established and run the popular "Orthopaedics Made Easy" one-day course aimed at general practitioners through the Royal College of General Practitioners. I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Health, Sport and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Salford.
