I trained in medicine at the University of Cambridge and the Royal Free Hospital in London. I completed my orthopaedic training in the West Midlands, including 18 months specialising in upper limb surgery at the Hand and Upper Limb Unit in Oswestry.

In 2011, I undertook advanced specialist training through the 12‑month Advanced Training Post in Hand Surgery Fellowship in Manchester. During this time, I gained extensive experience in microsurgery and plastic surgery of the hand and was awarded the British Hand Diploma by the British Society for Surgery of the Hand and the University of Manchester. I further developed my expertise with a 12‑month Upper Limb Fellowship in shoulder, elbow and hand surgery at the Wrightington Hospital Upper Limb Unit, completing this in 2013.

I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Upper Limb Surgeon at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, North Wales, in February 2013.

My clinical practice covers a wide range of upper limb conditions, including carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s disease, trigger finger, osteoarthritis, nerve and tendon injuries, and fracture management. I also undertake wrist and shoulder surgery, including arthroscopy and keyhole procedures, and manage conditions such as rotator cuff tears and subacromial impingement. My work includes peripheral nerve surgery and a range of reconstructive and minimally invasive techniques.

Alongside my clinical practice, I am actively involved in training and education. I act as a clinical and educational supervisor for orthopaedic trainees in Wrexham and regularly contribute to teaching and lecturing on upper limb courses in Oswestry.
