I trained at the University of Cambridge and Royal Free Hospital London. I undertook my orthopaedic training in the West Midlands including 18 months specialising in upper limb surgery at the Hand and Upper Limb Unit in Oswestry.
My interests include carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral nerve surgery, Dupuytren's disease, trigger finger, fracture surgery, osteoarthritis, nerve and tendon injuries, wrist surgery, shoulder surgery, keyhole surgery, arthroscopy, rotator cuff tears and subacromial impingement.
In 2011 I undertook specialist hand surgery training on the 12 month Advanced Training Post in Hand Surgery Fellowship in Manchester. During this time I gained considerable experience in microsurgery and plastic surgery of the hand, and I was awarded the British Hand Diploma (BSSH and University of Manchester). I completed my training with a further 12 month Upper Limb Fellowship in shoulder, elbow and hand surgery at the Wrightington Hospital Upper Limb Unit in 2013.
I was appointed a Consultant Orthopaedic and Upper Limb Surgeon at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital, North Wales in February 2013.
I am committed to maintaining surgical excellence. I am a clinical and educational supervisor for trainee orthopaedic surgeons in Wrexham. I also teach and lecture regularly on the upper limb courses in Oswestry.

I enjoy spending time with my family, walking the dog, swimming and keeping fit and also supporting my children in their hobbies of rugby, horse riding, Tae Kwon Do, football and music.
