I am happily married to Hannah, who is a palliative care consultant in Leeds, with two young children.

I am a keen sportsman and since starting at medical school in 1999 have been a member of Leeds Medics and Dentist Association Football Club. Sadly due to life becoming too busy I retired from playing in 2017. I still enjoy keeping fit by going to the gym, playing tennis, skiing and cycling with my family.
