I have been a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon for over seven years. I am an expert in robotic and keyhole cancer surgery. I am also a specialist in abdominal wall reconstruction surgery with expertise in open, keyhole and robotic hernia surgery for all abdominal wall hernias including groin hernias. I am also an accomplished endoscopist performing colonoscopies and gastroscopies.
I specialise in colorectal and general surgery. My main interest lies in performing major resections for benign colorectal conditions and bowel cancer as well as complex hernia surgery. I have a very large practice and regularly perform surgery for all minor colorectal conditions including fistulae, haemorrhoids, pilonidal sinus surgery.
I also maintain a busy general surgery practice including surgery either keyhole or robotic for gallbladder surgery and all hernias including groin hernias. As part of performing complex hernia repairs I also repair diastasis recti.
To date in the NHS and the private sector, I have performed over 300 complex colorectal resections mainly for cancer. In my career I have easily performed over a 1,000 hernia operations including complex incisional hernia repairs, over 1,000 minor colorectal procedures, over a 1,000 endoscopies as well as over 500 gallbladder operations.
I am the specialty Lead for Cancer Services and the Abdominal wall reconstruction lead at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
In my spare time I enjoy playing sport and walking with my children.
