MB ChB FRCS (Eng) FRCS (Tr and Orth)
I’m a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand and upper limb conditions, with over 20 years’ experience treating problems affecting the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.
I see patients with a wide range of concerns, from sports injuries and soft tissue problems through to osteoarthritis and more complex conditions affecting joints, tendons and nerves. My aim is always to understand how your symptoms are impacting your day-to-day life and to work with you to find the best treatment option.
Where surgery is needed, I offer a full range of procedures, including joint replacement and minimally invasive (arthroscopic) surgery, helping to support quicker recovery wherever possible. I also treat common issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon injuries and shoulder pain.
I understand that problems with the upper limb can significantly affect work, hobbies and independence, so I take the time to explain your diagnosis clearly and talk through your options in a straightforward, reassuring way.
Since becoming a consultant in 2002, I’ve built extensive experience in both routine and complex upper limb surgery, and I’m committed to delivering high-quality, personalised care for every patient.
