I specialise solely in knee surgery in my private practice following higher surgical training knee fellowships in Harrogate and Sheffield over 15 years ago and extensive clinical experience since with a busy NHS and private practice since.
I treat all aspects of knee surgery in patients of all ages including complex problems from arthroscopy and soft tissue surgery for sports injuries through to arthroplasty (primary and revision). This includes; single and multiple ligament reconstruction, meniscal and chondral disorders, osteotomies, unicompartmental (partial) and total knee replacements and am involved in international research trials.
I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon at Rotherham General Hospital and Clinical Director.
I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield. I am presently a member of a number of orthopaedic societies (BOA, BASK, ISAKOS, ESSKA) and continue to be actively involved in research having published in national and international journals. I enjoy teaching and training junior doctors and future surgeons as faculty on national exam courses arthroscopic workshops.
