I am a Consultant Urologist with a core diagnostic and surgical practice. I have a specialist interest in the diagnosis and management of bladder, prostate and kidney cancer.

Whilst my practice is broad, I pride myself in the relationships I develop with my patients. I strive to explore your complaints in clinic and use an array of cutting-edge technology to help me understand the nature of your problems and get to its core in a timely manner. I enjoy getting to know my patients and building a bond that helps me relay information in an understandable and meaningful way for you. Armed with this information I hope that you will feel empowered to make informed decisions about your health through my personalised approach to you.

I appreciate that new or persistent troublesome urological symptoms can be a source of concern, worry or embarrassment for many of my patients. With this in mind, I strive to help you quickly and discreetly investigate your problems to help manage and resolve these issues.

My areas of subspeciality interest revolve around the diagnosis and management of pelvic uro-oncology which includes prostate and bladder cancer diagnostics and management. I am a fully trained robotic pelvic surgeon and perform major bladder resections for both cancer and non-cancerous conditions. I have established a robotic reconstructive practice in the NHS and regularly support colleagues managing challenging patients with intestinal failure. I have a strong research interest, supported by a doctorate of medicine (MD) during which time I helped develop the evidence basis for novel treatments in advanced prostate cancer.

My NHS role is within a large teaching hospital and I invest time to teach of the next generation of surgeons and doctors. Supported by a PG Certification in medical education, I am module lead on the national urology Boot camp, and sit on the panel of exam question writers for the FRCS consultant examinations.

Finally I am co-founder of Prostate Health UK, providing The Prostate Health Clinic. This comprehensive prostate assessment provides men with a robust understanding of their prostate health and engages with them to reduce both the silent and visible risks to their health.

I look forward to meeting you and providing you with my expertise to help manage your urological concern.
