I have been a Consultant Urologist for over 15 years working in one of the biggest cancer centres in the UK. I am one of the few (if only) surgeons who have performed over 3,000 radical prostatectomies with all three main approaches: robotic, laparoscopic and open. I specialise in nerve-sparing and have a track record of being able to maintain potency in up to 80% of patients.

I also treat benign prostatic diseases, being well known for my enthusiasm for Greenlight Laser but also recognising and using the new technologies such as UroLift®, a first-line treatment that gets men off BPH medications and allows them to avoid major surgery as well as the more traditional but effective Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP).

I am well known for my enthusiasm for PSA screening, but not for prostate biopsy. I am an advocate of pre-biopsy MRI. PCA-3 urine gene testing. I provide an MRI fusion mapping template prostate biopsy service.

I also offer HIFU focal therapy which specifically targets the cancer and not the whole prostate.

I also carry out the Rezum procedure, a new treatment for the common problem of enlargement of the prostate.
