Specialises in

  • Colorectal surgery

I qualified as a doctor from the University of London with distinction in 2003. I currently practice all aspects of general and colorectal surgery. I have a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. In addition, I have specialist training in pelvic surgery.

I was appointed as an NHS consultant in general and colorectal surgery at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) in April 2017, having completed surgical training in London and the West Midlands.

During my training, I had the opportunity to work in high volume units in the West Midlands which has given me a broad experience of laparoscopic surgery. This includes small and large bowel surgery, colonoscopy, all aspects of hernia repair, treatment of haemorrhoids and bowel disorders. I completed my training as a Colorectal Fellow at the world renowned Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

To date I have performed in excess of 3,000 procedures including nearly 500 large bowel resections, 300 hernia repairs (open and laparoscopic) and 500 colonoscopies.
