I am a Urogynaecology Consultant at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust which includes Darent Valley Hospital at Dartford and Queen Mary’s Hospital at Sidcup. I completed my training from South East London which included tertiary hospitals like Guy's and St Thomas’.
I also have a special interest in laparoscopy surgeries and benign gynaecology. Apart from urogynaecology, I have had advanced training in vaginal surgery and abdominal surgery.
My other treatments include: Heavy periods: endometrial ablation, insertion of Mirena® coil; hysteroscopy: removal of fibroid, polyp; laparoscopy for pelvic pain, endometriosis, ovarian cyst; laparoscopic hysterectomy and open hysterectomy; urinary incontinence: autologous fascial sling, colposuspension, bulkamid, cystoscopy, bladder Botox; vaginal prolapse: vaginal repair, vaginal hysterectomy, sacrospinous fixation.
I am lead for Urogynaecology services at Darent Valley Hospital and Preceptor and Trainer for Urogynaecology Advance Training Skill Module for Senior trainees in Kent. The urogynaecology department at Darent Valley Hospital is proud of being the accredited by the British Society of Urogynaecology as an accredited urogynaecology Centre.
