I am an experienced Gynaecologist with more than 20 years in obstetrics and gynaecology. Upon completing my training as a consultant I became a Fellow of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists joining St Mary's Hospital, Portsmouth in 1996 as a Registrar. I currently work as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Queen Alexandra Hospital.
I underwent extensive training and completed special skills training in maternal medicine, imaging in gynaecological disorders and management, leadership in labour ward and medical education, and was awarded a diploma in obstetrics and gynaeoclogy ultrasound from the Wales Medical College, Cardiff.
As the lead Consultant for acute gynaecology at Queen Alexandra Hospital, I have developed evidence based patient care in ultrasound scanning, acute gynaecology complications, laparoscopic surgery, hysterectomy and hysteroscopy.
