BSc MBBS FRCS Eur Dip Hand Surg
in hand and wrist surgery. I hold the European hand diploma and manage a wide range of conditions, including nerve compression syndromes, trigger fingers, Dupuytren's disease, tendon disorders, arthritis, trauma, and sports-related injuries. My practice combines advanced surgical expertise with evidence-based non-surgical treatments to provide personalised care tailored to each patient's needs. I am a member of the British Society for surgery of the hand and keep my knowledge up to date with regular courses and conferences. My NHS practise is based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading where I am part of a multidisciplinary team of hand surgeons and therapists. I have experience locally and nationally of implementing service improvement projects and a multitude of publications. I am committed to achieving excellent functional outcomes, helping patients regain mobility and return to their daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.
I perform a broad range of procedures including carpal tunnel decompression, cubital tunnel release, trigger finger release, Dupuytrens fasciectomy, tendon repair and reconstruction, fracture fixation, joint injections, ganglion excision, and surgery for arthritis of the hand and wrist. I also have a particular interest in managing complex hand and wrist injuries and helping patients regain function and return to work, sport, and everyday activities.
Over the course of my career in orthopaedic surgery, I have performed several thousand upper limb procedures. This includes extensive experience in carpal tunnel decompression, trigger finger release, Dupuytrens surgery, cubital tunnel release, tendon repair and reconstruction, fracture fixation, ganglion excision, and other hand and wrist procedures. I regularly manage both elective and traumatic conditions of the hand and wrist and have developed one stop arthritis injection clinics and Dupuytrens clinics in my NHS practice. My high-volume practice enables me to deliver safe, evidence-based treatment with a strong focus on achieving excellent functional outcomes for patients.
