MBBS, MRCOG, FRCOG, FICRS
I am a consultant gynaecologist seeing patients at Spire Murrayfield Wirral with a wide range of complex and general gynaecological conditions. My approach is centred on early diagnosis, minimally invasive surgery and personalised care that supports both physical recovery and long‑term wellbeing.
I have extensive experience in managing complex pelvic conditions, including advanced endometriosis, pelvic pain, fibroids, ovarian cysts, prolapse and menstrual problems. I also assess and treat pre‑ and post‑menopausal symptoms, vulval conditions and abnormal cervical screening results, offering sensitive, expert care in a supportive setting.
A key focus of my practice is minimally invasive and advanced pelvic surgery. I perform the vast majority of gynaecological procedures using keyhole techniques, including laparoscopic hysterectomy and surgery for complex pelvic disease. I am one of a small number of consultants in the UK accredited in neuropelveology, an advanced subspecialty that focuses on pelvic nerves and complex pain conditions. I also have specialist expertise in robotic‑assisted gynaecological surgery and introduced this service locally to support women with complex conditions referred from other hospitals.
Alongside my private practice, I hold senior leadership roles within the NHS across gynaecological oncology, colposcopy, vulval disease and clinical governance. I am passionate about early cancer diagnosis, safe surgery and continuous improvement in women’s healthcare, and remain actively involved in training and research.
My aim is always to offer compassionate, expert care using modern techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes for women.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, climbing, mountaineering, gardening and scuba diving.
