I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with sub-specialty expertise in glaucoma. I trained at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and my research training has embedded in me an evidence-based, patient-focused approach when caring for my patients.
I offer general ophthalmology services, treating conditions including blurred vision, dry eyes, blepharitis and conjunctivitis, red, itchy, sore or painful eyes. I also offer glaucoma assessment and medical treatment, as well as microinvasive glaucoma surgery: iStent®.
I regularly perform cataract surgery and glaucoma operations. I have a special interest in the more recent glaucoma interventions; namely minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) including iStent® implantation as well as glaucoma laser therapies such as laser iridotomy and selective laser trabeculoplasty.
I am an expert in assessing glaucoma patients, interpreting glaucoma data ranging from straightforward cases to the more complex, higher risk cases. I use the most technologically advanced glaucoma diagnostics tests to investigate my patients.
I am registered with all of the major private health insurance companies including: BUPA, AXA-PPP, PruHealth, Vitality, Allianz, Aviva, and WPA. I can also offer a self-funding package.

Personal profile
I am a wife and mother to two children. I relax by exercising – training with a personal trainer as well as attending an outdoor boot camp on the weekends. I particularly look forward to our family skiing holidays and walking in the Lake District. I love my holidays with my family and we have travelled quite extensively across the world. I love my food and I enjoy trying out new recipes. I enjoy reading, especially historical novels.
