Miss Lucy Brookes

Physiotherapist

MCSP

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2024 with a first‑class honours degree in Physiotherapy. Alongside my studies, I trained in Level 3 sports massage and taping and became a qualified first responder in sport, gaining a strong foundation in musculoskeletal and sports‑related physiotherapy.

After graduating, I worked in the private sector within a musculoskeletal sports clinic, treating a wide range of patients using different treatment approaches, including shockwave therapy. I also gained experience completing occupational health assessments, which helped develop my ability to manage patients with varied needs and goals.

I joined Spire Healthcare in 2025 and now work across both the in‑patient and out‑patient physiotherapy teams at Spire Murrayfield Wirral. I particularly enjoy working in post‑operative orthopaedics and support patients from the day of surgery through to discharge. I am actively involved in service development within this area, helping to improve the patient journey and recovery experience.

Alongside my post‑operative work, I am developing my expertise as a hand specialist and continue to contribute to the ongoing development of the in‑patient physiotherapy service.

My approach is supportive and practical, with a focus on helping patients regain confidence, strength and independence as they recover and return to everyday activities.
