I am a Consultant Gynaecologist and Subspecialist Urogynaecologist based in Cambridge, providing private care at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital alongside my NHS role at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. I specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor and bladder conditions, offering expert care for women experiencing symptoms such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and complex pelvic floor dysfunction.

My clinical practice focuses on delivering comprehensive, personalised care for women at every stage of life. I understand that pelvic floor conditions can be distressing and often impact confidence, daily activities and overall wellbeing. This includes the management of female urinary incontinence, uterovaginal prolapse, advanced pelvic floor imaging, management of mesh complications and vaginal repair operations. I work closely with each patient to develop an individualised treatment plan, combining clear communication, education and a full range of conservative and surgical options to achieve the best outcomes.

A key part of my work is minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery. I am accredited in both laparoscopic and robotic urogynaecological procedures and offer advanced surgical treatments designed to improve recovery times and reduce complications. My expertise includes advanced laparoscopic prolapse repairs, laparoscopic continence operations and native tissue continence procedures, alongside robotic techniques, ensuring that I can provide the most appropriate surgical solution for each individual patient.

I am a certified Menopause Specialist with the British Menopause Society. I chair the IUGA (International Urogynaecology Association)  Workshop Committee, serve on the IUGA Scientific Programme Committee, and am Chair of the BSUG (British Society of Urogynaecology) Meetings Committee.

I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and invited international presentations, with research focusing on pelvic floor imaging, prolapse surgery outcomes, mesh complications, and surgical innovation. I am a principal and co-investigator on several multicentre studies and contributes actively to advancing evidence-based practice.

Alongside my research, I am dedicated to training and mentorship. I am a BSUG and ICS (International Continence Society)  Mentor, supporting trainees in complex urogynaecological procedures and robotic surgery, and regularly lead national and international surgical workshops and educational courses.

My global health work includes leading quality improvement projects in maternity care and pelvic health in Kenya through the Cambridge Global Health Partnerships.
