I have been a substantive Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Frimley Health NHS Trust for 10 years. I have been working in the field of plastic surgery for over 20 years and have a particular interest in skin cancer. I am experienced in general plastic surgery including hand and breast surgery.
I am a fully accredited experienced plastic surgeon with a specialist interest in skin cancer, skin lesions and reconstruction following resection of these.
I provide a patient centred approach with rapid assessment, dermoscopy, mole checks, and timely treatment, ensuring patients receive high-quality care without unnecessary delay.
I am highly experienced in performing complex reconstructions following Mohs surgery, and I also undertake sentinel lymph node biopsies for melanoma, offering my patients comprehensive care from diagnosis through to advanced surgical management.
I have performed over 5,000 skin cancer excisions with over 1,000 flap-based reconstructions. I perform regular sentinel lymph node biopsies for melanoma as well as lymph node removal surgery.
I have vast experience in elective hand surgery including Dupuytren's contracture excision, carpal tunnel decompression, and trigger finger release. I am competent in breast augmentation, breast reduction, exchange of implants and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck).
I am the skin cancer MDT lead for Frimley North and Deputy cancer Lead for Frimley Health. I am the ckin cancer lead for Frimley Health, Medical examiner of Frimley ICS, Poche Fellow at the Melanoma Institute Australia (2011-2012) and Skin cancer fellow at St Thomas' Hospital, London (2015 - present).
