Miss Amber Berry

I graduated with a BSc in sports rehabilitation in 2017 and completed an internship with Leicester Tigers during the 2017–2018 season, gaining valuable experience across both development and first team squads. Alongside this, I worked with PitchReady, supporting athlete testing and return to sport assessments Pre/Post ACL reconstruction. I also provided pitch side physiotherapy for Loughborough University’s sports teams, primarily the Men’s First Team Football, until 2023.

Following my internship, I returned to study physiotherapy at the University of Leicester, graduating in 2021. I then worked as a Research Physiotherapist, splitting my time between research and outpatients, co-authoring a paper with a Foot and Ankle Consultant and presenting the findings regionally.

I now work full-time at Spire Leicester Hospital in a split role of two days on the elective orthopaedic ward and three in outpatients. I have collaborated on developing a post-surgical protocol for proximal hamstring repair and specialise in acupuncture and women’s health physiotherapy.
