I have been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Princess of Wales Hospital since 2016.
After qualifying in 1996, I completed postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India before moving to the UK. I completed specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in South Wales and South Yorkshire, United Kingdom to obtain a certificate of completion (CCT). I have a wide range of expertise in general gynaecology, providing high-quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids and vaginal prolapse. I have continued to develop my special interests, keeping “patient-centered satisfaction goals” as a mainstay of my practice. Treatments I offer and clinical interests also include colposcopy, hysterectomy. hysteroscopy, laparoscopic surgery and menopause.
I have successfully completed advanced training in benign gynaecological surgery including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and maternal medicine, in the UK. I have worked in Lyell McEwin Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia to broaden my experience in high-risk obstetrics and gynaecology.
