I have been a urology surgeon for 8 years and an expert in ureteric and renal stone disease and Paediatric Urology. I qualified as a doctor in 2005 from Imperial College, London with a Distinction. My specialist training was in the Thames Valley, and I also spent a year working at Great Ormond Street Hospital (2017) to gain further experience with Paediatric Urology. I am a specialist in treating and operating on ureteric and renal stone and in managing common paediatric urology conditions including foreskin issues, undescended testes and bladder problems.
I specialise in treating ureteric and renal stones by ureteroscopy, flexible ureteroscopy and percutaneous lithotripsy.
I am experienced and skilful in treating kidney stones within the kidney and those that have dropped into the ureter. I have performed over 1,400 ureteroscopies to date using laser technology. I am also skilled in treating larger stones within the kidney, both through ureteroscopy and also key-hole surgery into the kidney (percutaneous nephrolithotomy including mini-PCNL). Over the past 3 years I have performed 50 PCNL surgeries with excellent results and low readmission and reoperation rates.
I am a keen educator and have been awarded best trainer in the region in 2022 and 2024 by BAUS.
