I am an experienced consultant rheumatologist and general physician working within a multidisciplinary rheumatology department at my NHS base in Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust since 2021.
I graduated in medicine from the University of Glasgow in 2007 and trained as a rheumatologist and general physician in the West of Scotland. During my specialist training, I was awarded a PhD at the University of Glasgow, where I researched cardiovascular disease in patients with inflammatory arthritis.
I have published scientific articles in leading academic journals, including Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases and Nature Reviews Rheumatology. In 2024, I established a specialist early arthritis clinic at Frimley Park Hospital, the first of its kind at the site, which I currently co-ordinate alongside a specialist nurse and a rheumatology trainee doctor. I also perform joint injections to treat a wide range of rheumatic conditions.
Most of my spare time is spent with my three children, but when I get the chance, I also enjoy music (particularly the guitar), following the Scotland national rugby team, and the relaxation found by spending time in the South Downs National Park.
