I am a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in heart rhythm disorders, with extensive experience supporting patients with symptoms such as palpitations, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, blackouts and breathlessness.
I offer a wide range of diagnostic and treatment options, including heart rhythm monitoring, electrophysiology studies and advanced procedures such as catheter ablation for conditions including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter and other arrhythmias. I also provide device therapy where appropriate, including pacemakers, defibrillators and implantable loop recorders.
I work at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, where I see patients referred from across the region with both straightforward and complex heart rhythm problems. I perform a high volume of procedures each year and have a particular interest in advanced ablation techniques for more complex cases.
Alongside my clinical work, I hold a leadership role supporting digital transformation within cardiac services and contribute to teaching and research as part of my academic role with the University of Liverpool.
I understand that heart rhythm symptoms can be unsettling, so I focus on clear explanations and practical treatment plans to help patients feel reassured and confident in their care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active and being involved in local sport.
