I have over 11 years consultant experience at performing the following invasive procedures: coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI; balloon angioplasty and stenting of coronary arteries) and permanent pacemaker implantation.
I also see patients with chest pain, unexplained breathlessness, palpitations, arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, heart failure and general cardiovascular problems.
I have been an NHS consultant cardiologist at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey for over 11 years. I was trained at Oxford University (Top First in 1990 and Hobson Memorial Clinical Scholarship) and a Fulbright Scholar at the Stanford University School of Medicine, California.
At Frimley Park, I led the development of the 24/7 primary angioplasty service for heart attack patients in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
