I am a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist, specialising in endocrinology and diabetes mellitus, metabolic bone condition, osteoporosis, parathyroid disease, pituitary disease and thyroid disease.

I believe that treatment should be patient-centred and individualised, with good communication key to this. It is essential to discuss management plans and potential treatment options clearly. Such decisions should ultimately depend upon evidence-based guidance but also, importantly, upon patient choice.

My clinical interests include diabetes and endocrine disorders in pregnancy and young adults with diabetes.
