I have been a Haematology Consultant since 2009, working as an NHS Consultant at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust. I have been working in Private Practise at Spire Elland Hospital since 2013. I provide specialist opinion and investigations for general blood count abnormalities including suspected haematological malignancies.
I do not specialise in bleeding or clotting abnormalities and management of iron deficiency anaemia (low ferritin) or suspected Haemochromatosis (high ferritin), both of which are usually investigated and managed by Gastroenterologists. I am not able to provide bone marrow biopsies at Spire Elland Hospital.
