"Spire Manchester Hospital provides world-class care and treatment. I am impressed with the nurturing environment where members of staff are courteous and helpful to colleagues and patients alike."
I specialise in oncological, general and complex benign Urological imaging. I regularly participate in the Endourology, benign and oncological Urological multidiscplinary meetings. My main interest is in multiparametric MR imaging (mpMRI) of the prostate and urinary bladder.
I perform a wide range of non-vascular/Uroradiological interventions such as nephrostomy insertions, nephrostomy exchanges, antegrade ureteric stenting, suprapubic catheter insertions, percutaneous nephrolithotomies (PCNL) and solid organ biopsies. I have had no significant complications up to the present time.
I obtained a place in the prestigious Manchester Radiology Training Scheme (MRTS) and was admitted as Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2014. I subsequently achieved my competencies in higher specialist training in Abdominal/Genitourinary Radiology and have been appointed substantive NHS Consultant Diagnostic and Interventional Uroradiologist since 2015 at Salford Royal.
I was previously the Clinical Director for Radiology, Undergraduate Educational and Interventional lead at Salford Royal. I was also a panel member of the Clinical Radiology National Recruitment. Currently I am a Clinical Radiology Advisory Appointment Committee member for the Royal College of Radiologists.
I am also a senior honorary lecturer at the University of Manchester (Medical Education). I deliver regular teaching to MSc students in the field of imaging as well as an Educational Supervisor (ES) for Radiology trainees.

I enjoy spending my leisure time with my 10 year-old and 6 year-old sons. I also go to my local gym on a regular basis to keep mentally active and stay physically fit. The issues of child and animal protection are of utmost personal importance, and I have been a supporter of the charity groups National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) as well as the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).
