Dr Susannah Woodrow

I am a Surrey and Hampshire based private Consultant Gastroenterologist offering a combination of face to face appointments or telephone consultations. My main areas of interest are Barretts Oesophagus, Reflux and the endoscopic treatment of early upper GI cancers. I also treat patients with problems of the small bowel such as coeliac disease and Crohn's disease as well as problems in the large intestine such as Ulcerative Colitis. I sub specialise in advanced endoscopy performing EMRs, HALO radiofrequency ablation, capsule endoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy and large colonic polyps.

I trained at Guys, Kings and St Thomas' Medical school and underwent specialist training in London including St Marks Hospital, Chelsea & Westminster and Kings College London.

My final year of training in advanced endoscopic techniques was undertaken at St Mary's Hospital. I under took a higher degree in medical leadership with Manchester Business School and the Royal College of Physicians.

My NHS practise is based at Frimley Park Hospital where I work within a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent patient centred care. I am clinical lead for the endoscopy department ensuring that the highest standards of care are being delivered.
