I am a Consultant General Paediatrician with nearly 30 years' experience in paediatric medicine, specialising in paediatric neurology and epilepsy. My practice includes general paediatric conditions, paediatric neurological conditions, epilepsy management, diagnostic delay, and standards of care.
I am a member of the British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) and the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) and have played an active role in the development and delivery of the BPNA's Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET) courses both in the UK and internationally, I am currently the BPNA lead for Faculty development, and was a part of the team who developed a cascade method of training which has been recognized by the World Health Organisation.
I am the clinical and district lead for the direct epilepsy service in Portsmouth, which happens to be one of the busiest district services within the UK. Alongside diagnosing and managing children with Epilepsy and Neurological conditions, I also see children with general paediatric illnesses.

Im my spare time, I am a keen amateur triathlete and have completed 3 ironman distance evenst including qualifying for and finishing the Ironman World Championships in 2022, Konwa Hawaii.
