I have been a consultant paediatrician for over 21 years and have special interests in paediatric neurology and expertise in children with epilepsy. I have tuaght paediatricians interested in epilipsy for nearly 20 years and am a regular teacher on the national and international courses.

I am the clinical lead the district epilepsy service in Portsmouth, one of the busiest district services on the UK

I specialise in diagnosing and managing children with epilepsy and neurological conditions as well as children with general paediatric illnesses.

I am the district lead for the epilepsy service ion Portsmouth.

I am an honorary lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, undertaking regluar lecture sessions.

I am the Instructor Training lead for the British Paediatric Neurology Association short courses with responsibility for the course globally, trainig new faculty to teach on courses for medical staff.

The epilepsy course is now a global concern and over 20000 delegates have now attended our courses.

I am a founder member of the new paediatric epielspy course ‘PET 4ward’ and we have deliverd this course over 2 years
