I am a leading consultant physician in diabetes and endocrinology and honorary senior lecturer at King's College London. My areas of expertise include diabetes; thyroid, parathyroid, and pituitary conditions; osteoporosis, and hormone problems.
My other treatments include: All thyroid conditions and adrenal disorders, general endocrine problems, lipid disorders, parathyroid disease, pituitary disorders including growth hormone deficiency.
I treat all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology, however, I have a special interest in thyroid and pituitary gland disorders and complex diabetes. I have a clinical interest in treating excessive hair growth, hair loss (alopecia), period problems (absent or irregular periods), and erection and sex drive problems.
I also treat all aspects of various metabolic problems including fatty liver and lipid problems and help patients to reduce their cardiovascular risk through comprehensive care. I am heavily involved in multiple research activities within my field.
I completed my specialist training in London at Royal Free and University College London Hospitals. In 2012, I obtained his MRCP (Diabetes and Endocrinology) and then in 2018 became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London.
Aside from practising as a consultant, I am currently the lead for Young Adults with Diabetes, an honorary senior lecturer at King's College London, the college tutor and Governance Lead for Maidstone Hospital, and actively involved with training junior doctors and medical students. In addition, I am a DAFNE educator and both a national and international speaker in my expert field.
