Specialises in

I am a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology primarily based at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since 2018. I qualified with distinction from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2006 and undertook a wide range of clinical training in general medicine working across London's leading teaching hospitals.

I have extensive experience across all ages and branches of Neurophysiology having trained at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, The Royal Free Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. I won the British Society of Clinical Neurophysiology’s prestigious Lord Adrian prize in my first year of specialist training for my work on national sedation monitoring across England’s Intensive Care Units. I remain actively involved in research, training and quality improvement projects as well as my own personal professional development.

I have particular expertise in peripheral nerve injuries, nerve entrapment, neuro-muscular diseases and epilepsy, working across all age ranges. I strive to make the experience of neurophysiological tests as pleasant as possible and ensure that reports are generated rapidly.

My areas of expertise include; Nerve conduction studies and Electromyography (NCS/EMG/QEMG/SF-EMG), Evoked Potentials (SSEP, MEP, ERG, VEP, BSAEP) and Electroencephalography (Routine, Sleep Deprived, Video-Telemetry, Ambulatory).

You can follow me on YouTube, via the link below, where you can find out more about the techniques used and explanations of a wide range of neuro-muscular conditions. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC70ljnnN4GKEdNAMMm2NT0g/videos

My BSCN Research Presentations are as follows; 2015 BSCN Scientific Meeting: Variability on upper limb nerve conduction data by ethnic origin, 2015 BSCN Scientific Meeting: Does the site of median nerve stimulation at the wrist matter? 2015 BSCN Scientific Meeting: Management of CTS and are NCS useful its management?
