I have extensive experience in all aspects of clinical gastroenterology including investigation of abdominal symptoms and anaemia, reflux disease, functional bowel disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases and sports related abdominal conditions. My major clinical interests are in pancreatico biliary medicine and diagnostic and interventional endoscopy, particularly ERCP, EUS and management of stricturing diseases.

I have a significant interest in quality improvement in all aspects of endoscopy. I am currently ERCP and EUS Quality Improvement lead for the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG). I am a member of the BSG Endoscopy committee, pancreatic committee and an elected member of the BSG Council. I am a member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Guidelines committee and have written the BSG guidelines on Consent for endoscopy (2016) and update (2023).
