I am a Consultant Cardiologist at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital and also at Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust, the Heart Hospital and University College London Hospitals NHS Trust. I am a fully trained Interventional Cardiologist and have sessions for angioplasty and pacemaker insertion at both Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust and also the Heart Hospital, UCLH NHS Trust.
I am available to see referrals for general cardiology, coronary artery disease, hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias and women's cardiac health.
I qualified from Birmingham University in 1993. I completed General Medical training on the St George's Medical rotation, followed by posts at Guys Renal Unit. I was a Research Registrar at the London Chest Hospital and have an MD in Cardiovascular Epidemiology. My clinical Cardiology training was completed at the Royal Free Hospital, the Middlesex Hospital and UCLH.
I have co-authored a textbook, Swanton's Cardiology, which was published in March 2008. I have published many papers, including articles in the New England Journal of Medicine.
