I am fully competent and confident in all the joint injections (both larger as well as smaller joints), joint aspirations, also injections for tendons, bursa and carpal tunnel.

I believe in the recent concept of 'Treat to target' with tight control of the disease to have better long term outcome. My aim is to offer holistic treatment rather than managing only one joint and also to support people in self management of their problems, so that people can achieve the best possible quality of life with high self-confidence.

After completing training in medicine and getting MBBS degree, I completed my post graduate training in North England (2001-2005). I was awarded with MRCP (Member of Royal College of Physicians, UK) in 2003. Later on, I joined the higher specialist training programme in South London and Kent. During this period I worked at Lewisham Hospital, Maidstone Hospital, Princess Royal University Hospital (Farnborough), Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Woolwich) and King's College Hospital. I also completed my MSc degree in Rheumatology from King's College, London. Later on I was also awarded MRCP (Rheumatology) degree. I have been working as a Rheumatology Consultant in the NHS since 2012, and have worked at the reputed Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry. I have now moved to Medway Maritime Hospital and also run two Rheumatology clinics at Sheppey Community Hospital.

I am also a clinical lead in teaching 'long term condition block' fourth year medical students from King's College, London. My role is to teach and arrange teaching for these students at Medway hospital. I am an appraiser for my fellow consultants and junior doctors' at Medway Maritime Hospital.
