I am a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician and have been working at the Leicester Children's Hospital in the University Hospitals of Leicester for the last 25 years.
I have a broad and in depth knowledge of general paediatrics and in addition have developed an Interest in Paediatric Dermatology, Paediatric Allergy and Asthma.
I look after babies and children from birth to 16 years of age.
My pledge is always to do my best by the children and families that I care for.
I am the Founder of Healing Little Hearts; Registered Charity 1130194.
I was awarded an OBE in Her Majesty’s Birthday Honours list in October 2020 for services to Medicine and Charity.
In April 2019 Prime Minister Mrs Theresa May awarded me a Points of Light award for outstanding contributions to Charity for my work with Healing Little Hearts.

Personal profile
My motto in life is to work hard and play hard and most importantly to give something back to society. I am the Founder of a Registered Charity called Healing Little Hearts, which sends teams of doctors and nurses across the developing world to perform open heart surgery on children for free. I also have a 3rd Degree Blackbelt in Karate, train regularly and also enjoy going to the gym.
