I graduated from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital Medical Schools in London in 1995 achieving multiple first class honours. I passed my MRCP examinations in 1998 and was awarded a British Heart Foundation Fellowship to conduct research in heart muscle diseases. I took up cardiology specialist training as a specialist registrar and subsequently senior registrar at St George's Hospital in London between 2002 and 2008. I was accredited as a specialist in the UK in both cardiology and general internal medicine in 2008.
I have an active interest in medical education and have organised and run a well established postgraduate teaching course in London for over 10 years. I see patients for angiogram, angioplasty (stent/balloon implantation), heart failure and heart muscle diseases, interventional cardiology, pacemakers/pacing and arrhythmias, sport cardiology and TAVI.
