I graduated from the University of Dundee in 1998 and undertook my specialist registrar training in dermatology in Edinburgh.
I was appointed as a consultant dermatologist in NHS Fife in 2010 where I see all general dermatology conditions and perform skin surgery. I have a specialist interest in inflammatory dermatosis including psoriasis and lichen sclerosus as well skin cancers.
I am a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and the Scottish Dermatological Society for which I was the Secretary from 2016-2020.
