Virtual consultations:

I qualified from Free University Berlin in 1994 and received an MD from Humboldt University Berlin in 1997. I trained and worked as a neurologist with a special interest in clinical neurophysiology in Berlin and Potsdam.

In 2005 I moved with my family to Bristol and continued to work as a consultant in both specialties at Frenchay Hospital.

I began developing my expertise in botulinum toxin treatment in 1996 and I have continued to run botulinum toxin clinics including teaching and training ever since.

I enjoy teaching and multidisciplinary teamwork. I have contributed a lot in planning the new Department of Clinical Neurophysiology at the new hospital in Southmead.

At Southmead Hospital I work as a consultant clinical neurophysiologist and neurologist. I run nerve conduction and EMG clinics in the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology. In the Neurology Department I run a general neurology clinic and a very busy botulinum toxin clinic for patients with dystonia (torticollis, blepharospasm, writer's cramp, oromandibular dystonia), hemifacial spasm and spasticity.

My practice at the Spire Bristol Hospital will mirror my NHS activity and I will be able to provide neurology consultations and nerve conduction studies and EMG. I will also offer botulinum toxin treatment for dystonia and spasticity including EMG guided injections.
