Dr Robert Johnson

I'm a Consultant Radiologist with a keen focus on genitourinary radiology, encompassing both gynaecology and urology. My role is pivotal in the multidisciplinary cancer team meetings for gynaecology and urology, where I collaborate closely with other experts in the field. My research is primarily centred around advanced MRI techniques, particularly the multi-parametric MRI of the prostate.

In my commitment to professional excellence, I undergo annual appraisals and actively participate in the Royal College of Radiologists’ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme. Teaching is a passion of mine, and I find great fulfilment in educating medical students and mentoring junior doctors.

My clinical expertise extends to a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures. I regularly perform transvaginal gynaecology ultrasounds, trans-rectal prostate biopsies, liver biopsies, and various interventional fluoroscopic techniques, all with the utmost care and precision to ensure the best outcomes for my patients.
