MRCGP, MBBS
I am a GP Partner based in South Liverpool with a broad range of experience across general practice, urgent care and medical education.
I came to medicine later in my career, studying at St George’s, University of London after completing previous degrees and working in the healthcare field. I then trained in a number of London teaching hospitals before moving to Liverpool, where I completed my GP training and have continued to develop my career.
Alongside my work in general practice, I have a special interest in paediatrics and also work within the Emergency Department at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, supporting children with a wide range of acute conditions.
Education and training are an important part of my role. I am a qualified GP trainer, supporting doctors through their training, and work as an appraiser for NHS England, helping to guide the ongoing development of fellow GPs. I am also involved in teaching medical students and other healthcare professionals as part of my work with the University of Liverpool.
I value building long-term relationships with patients and enjoy being part of a busy and diverse local community. Taking the time to listen and understand concerns is central to the care I provide.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and making the most of everything Liverpool and the surrounding area has to offer, as well as staying active and learning to play the guitar.
