I graduated from medical school in 1997 and completed both my general medical training and specialist training in Gastroenterology and General Medicine in Yorkshire. I later completed a PhD at the University of Manchester, focusing on nutrition and appetite control, and have presented and published my research at both national and international conferences.
Alongside my private practice, I have been a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Wythenshawe Hospital since 2010, where I also serve as Clinical Director for the Department of Gastroenterology.
I have broad experience across all areas of gastroenterology, with particular interests in clinical nutrition, inflammatory bowel disease and endoscopy. I provide assessment and treatment for a wide range of digestive health conditions and aim to deliver clear, thorough and personalised care for every patient.
In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in teaching and training medical students and junior doctors and hold the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester.
