Specialises in
I am a Consultant Cardiologist and Lead for Coronary Intervention at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, where I was appointed in 2019.
I diagnose and treat a wide range of heart conditions and am fully trained in all aspects of general cardiology. My main area of specialist interest is coronary artery disease, including the investigation of chest pain, assessing and reducing cardiovascular risk factors, and carrying out procedures such as coronary angiography and angioplasty.
I completed my undergraduate medical training at University College London before undertaking specialist cardiology training on the West Yorkshire rotation. During this time, I gained experience across all areas of general cardiology and later subspecialised in coronary intervention at the Yorkshire Heart Centre.
I provide a range of cardiac investigations and treatments, including blood tests to assess heart disease risk, ECG monitoring and 24 to 48-hour event recording, exercise electrocardiograms, cardioversion for heart rhythm problems, coronary angiography and pacemaker implantation.
