Dr Ravish Mankragod

I am an experienced Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine appointed to Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2006.

I manage all respiratory conditions and provide a comprehensive respiratory and sleep service with full diagnostics including lung function testing, bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), sleep studies and chest imaging including CT scan and thoracic ultrasound.

My clinical interests include: Management of cough; lung cancer; sleep apnoea; bronchial asthma; COPD; pleural diseases; occupational related lung diseases.

My other treatments include: COPD; interstitial lung diseases; lung cancer; sleep-related breathing disorders.

Over the years I have restructured respiratory services as a Lead Clinician in Respiratory Medicine and Acute Oncology services. I am also a senior examiner for Royal College of Physicians London.

Research interests: I have presented my work on bronchial asthma at national and international meetings. Currently I am leading on a number of research projects on airway diseases.
