I qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1992. I trained in London until coming down to Southampton to undertake my research into asthma and allergic airways disease. Following this I completed my clinical training in the Wessex region and have now been a consultant at Southampton General Hospital since 2006.
I now lead the Pulmonary Vascular Service and have set up the Pulmonary Embolus Clinic. In addition I also run the Pulmonary Hypertension Service, working closely with The Royal Brompton Hospital, London.
