I trained in London and was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at the Sussex Cardiac Centre in 2004. I also work at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital where I undertake a specialist adolescent clinic.
I am trained in all aspects of general cardiology and specialise in echocardiography. I hold British Society of Echocardiography accreditation in both transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography and European accreditation in paediatric and congenital echocardiography.
I am a consultant with a special interest in adult congenital heart disease and my practice includes the specialist areas of cardiac disease in pregnancy and valve disease.
Special clinical interests: Echocardiography, cardiac disease in pregnancy, maternal cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, pre-op assessment, valve disease and endocarditis.
