I have worked as a consultant in stroke medicine since 2006 at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals. I have a special interest in managing young stroke patients where the cause is diverse.

I have a keen interest in research and am hugely experienced in stroke research. Currently, I am the principal investigator for a number of stroke trials that are being conducted internationally as well as nationally.

I have expertise in spasticity management, including Botulinum Toxin injections. This can be due to stroke or other neurological conditions.

I have regular TIA and stroke clinics in the hospital setting and have extensive experience and expertise in managing these conditions.

As the clinical lead for the West Yorkshire Stroke Network, I am engaged with all necessary stakeholders both locally, regionally and nationally to improve stroke care within West Yorkshire. I am also involved in developing the lipid pathway within the region and provide specialist input.
