Dr Philip Webb

Consultant Oncologist

BMedSci, MBChB, PGCert, MRCP, FRCR

I specialise in the treatment of Breast, Upper Gastrointestinal and Cancers of Unknown Primary, for which I offer systemic treatments in the form of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and hormonal therapy, as well as radiation therapy. I also offer radiation therapy for patients with lymphoma, and other types of blood cancer.

I am a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor, and now Spire Dunedin.

I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2014 with Honours and thereafter completed an Academic Foundation Programme whilst gaining research experience. I then undertook my medical rotations at the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital, where I found my passion for Oncology, in which I then began specialist training at Oxford University Hospitals in 2018. I was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading in 2023.

I am passionate about the supervision of junior colleagues and participate in the delivery of effective clinical trials at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Breast cancer. I have strong relationships with staff throughout the multi-disciplinary team I work within.

I am the lead physician for the Cancer of Unknown Primary Multi-Disciplinary Team at Frimley Health Foundation Trust, Wexham Park Hospital.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young children, reading, swimming and playing tennis.
