Dr Noshaba Naz

Consultant Nephrologist and physician

MBBS FRCP(Lon) FRCP(neph)Lon) PGCERT Med education

I’m a consultant nephrologist with specialist expertise in kidney disease and general medicine, with a particular focus on managing conditions such as high blood pressure and complex renal disorders.

I care for patients with a wide range of kidney problems, from early-stage disease through to more complex conditions including glomerulonephritis, vasculitis and inherited kidney disorders. I also support patients before and after kidney transplantation, helping to manage both short- and long-term complications.

My approach is to take the time to fully understand your condition and explain everything clearly, so you feel confident and informed about your care. I run specialist clinics for conditions such as vasculitis, glomerulonephritis and polycystic kidney disease, ensuring patients have access to tailored treatment and ongoing support.

Alongside my clinical work, I lead several services within the renal department, including vascular access and education, and I’m closely involved in training junior doctors. I also have a growing interest in managing the effects of newer cancer treatments on kidney function, an evolving area of care.

I carry out procedures such as kidney biopsies and the insertion of dialysis catheters, maintaining a hands-on approach to patient care.

My aim is always to deliver thoughtful, personalised treatment while supporting patients through what can often be complex and long-term conditions.
